Our childhood was spent in, "The Township of Toronto", now known as Mississauga. Educated at Queens University, St. Lawrence College and Wilfrid Laurier - in the end we both graduated from the University of Waterloo, and have enjoyed a variety of careers.

Since we were married and while raising a son and daughter we have lived in Kingston, Kitchener, Heidelberg, Harriston, Waterloo, St. Agatha, Etobicoke, Oakville, Hamilton, Cambridge (three locations), Mississauga (again), downtown Toronto, "High Park", Caledon, Oshawa, Cambridge (again), Mississauga (again), Alton, Barrie, "the Junction", and have finally settled in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. We always had the best intentions of staying in each home but life provides challenges. With grown children now living in Toronto, we plan to spend many years at Copper Lane in our 24th home.

We have enjoyed travel throughout Canada and much of the eastern United States as well as parts of the U.S. west coast. We have also travelled to the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Malta and Greece. After discussing opening a B&B for 20 years we finally decided on the, "loveliest town in Canada".
